We visited the end of the year Motor Home Show at Shepton Mallett predominately to see the accessories on offer and to have a nose around. This all proved very successful which resulted us in deciding to purchase the “Gas It” system for the van. Continue reading

Turned off the key at 18.30 in a quiet peaceful part of the New Forest for the weekend.
Furzehill Farm CL run by Richard Loader is a brilliant site, an ideal place to chill and recharge the batteries. It had only been about a 30 minute drive, about 15 mile, from Salisbury on a sunny evening. Continue reading

21 – 23 August 2015 House Move Droitwich Spa CL
Friday afternoon saw me drive Roxie up to Droitwich Spa with the boys on the seats beside me. A quick stop on the way up for a dog break after about an hour. Have decided that stopping after an hour or so beneficial for all, even though Roxie is such an easy vehicle to drive.

14 – 16 August 2015 Our first CL – Goffsland Farm, Horsham, West Sussex (1697)
Leaving home about 4pm we made good time even though it mainly drizzled all the way and the traffic was quite busy on the M27 with Friday night work commuters and other summer holiday makers. Stopped off at Tesco’s Havant for fuel and a Costa coffee and chocolate to contain my withdrawal symptoms.

Running late due to work commitments we thought it best to ring the CC Longleat site to say that we would be there about 8pm.rang the site and said we would be rather late. However it is an easy straight drive from Salisbury and we did arrive about 7.45pm so we were able to pick a site fairly easily. Continue reading

June 16 2015 Pickup Day
Well at last this day has arrived. After several years checking out web sites for a motorhome and trying hard to fill our bank with the necessary readies we are ready to go. It has been a long 6 weeks since we first saw the van on the Motorhome Depot web site followed by a Saturday morning visit.
